Katrina Martin, LCSW
I am a licensed clinical social worker in Durham, NC. I hold a masters of social work from UNC-Chapel Hill and degrees in Art History and English from UT-Austin. I continually receive supervision for experiential dynamic therapy (EDT), engage in intensive EDT trainings, peer supervision, and several learning groups. I am a certified facilitator with the MEIA Institute (formerly Koru Mindfulness), have extensive mindfulness training and retreat experience, and have a special interest in Insight Dialogue, an interpersonal mindfulness practice. I have taught yoga and meditation to individuals and groups ranging from age 3 to 70 since 2011.
Prior to my work in private practice, I trained in individual psychotherapy (CBT, ACT, psychodynamic therapy) at the UNC Psychology and Neuroscience Community Clinic and provided mental health services to recently resettled refugees through UNC Refugee Wellness. I also worked with patients in treatment for eating disorders at the residential, partial-hospital, and intensive-outpatient level.

Ashley C Knight, MSW, LCSW
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and I’m passionate about helping people who spend so much time caring for others that they forget to care for themselves. If you struggle to put yourself first, feel guilty for needing a break, or are just plain exhausted from always being “the strong one,” you’re in the right place.

I specialize in working with first responders, caregivers, and anyone feeling burned out, overwhelmed, or stuck in patterns that make it hard to prioritize themselves. As a former first responder myself, I get what it’s like to always feel responsible for others—but I also know that you can’t pour from an empty cup. I provide a space where you can work through stress, boundaries, and self-care without guilt or shame, so you can show up for yourself the way you deserve.

Beyond therapy, I also offer clinical supervision and consultation for fellow therapists. Whether you’re navigating the early years of your career or need a fresh perspective on tough cases, I’m here to support you in building confidence, strengthening your skills, and making this work sustainable—without burning yourself out in the process.

Annie Segrest, LCSW
I offer individual, couples and family therapy, and have extensive experience working within the LGBTQIA+ community. I believe being seen, heard and affirmed are integral in the healing process and center clients accordingly. I work with grief, trauma, depression, anxiety, relationship challenges and changes, un-partnered parenting and coparenting, family crisis and early childhood issues. I draw from Trauma-Informed practices and Evidence-Based techniques including Emotionally Focused Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems Therapy and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT).

I support individuals and couples who are interested in practicing vulnerability, deep listening, reflection and generative communication. I offer clients space to safely explore their trauma, identify the ways it shows up and the ways they want to heal. I integrate somatic techniques throughout and can assist couples in learning to coregulate.
